ABOUT AAUA ALUMNI

Adekunle Ajasin University Alumni Association by convention, has existed since the graduation of the first set of students of the University in 2004. But by sorority, it’s inaugurated in December 14, 2014.

Hitherto to December 14, 2014, the affairs of the association were being administered by the University Management and some pro-tem individuals and coteries for eleven (11) years.

It is therefore correct to aver that our dear Alumni Association was birthed in December 14, 2014.
So far, the leadership of the association has been able to build a robust symbiotic relationship with the Management of AAUA, members of the association, the Ondo State Government, well-to-do Nigerians, individuals and corporate organizations.

• (I) Regular Annual Convention and General Assembly
• (II) Inauguration of branches, as in: Akure, Owo, Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and the latest efforts are creation of the Canada and USA, South Africa, UK and Europe, Ogun, Lagos Island, North Central and Osogbo branches respectively
• (III) On-going construction of a modern student hostel (25% of completion).
• (IV) Foundation-Laying ceremony of a Multipurpose Alumni Secretariat
• (V) Inauguration of an Endowment Scheme for indigent students
• (VI) Annual hosting of Student Empowerment Programme (SEP) for all students of AAUA, with the 2018 edition as 4th (SEP 4.0), where three (3) students after coming tops of the SEP’s were offered scholarships for the 2019 academic session.
• (VII) Donation of office equipment (power generating set, laptop and desktop computers, Solar powered street lights etc.) to some critical sections of AAUA.
